The main purpose of the course is to practice a systematic approach for
complete design procedure of embedded systems ranging form memory system interface,
communication port interface and digital I/O interface to embedded system programming.
Term projects will handle dynamic memory interface, network interface, data conversion
and LCD display, porting real-time operating systems, and so on. Implementation issues
are intensively taken into consideration.
Students should have underlying knowledge including electric circuit, digital electronics,
digital systems design and computer aided circuit design or equivalent.
